Operated by the Official Human Liaison and Postmistress (that’s me!), this branch of the Inter-Realm Mail System was created when the butterflies went on strike. (Too many magical frog mishaps – not enough paid rest days. We stand with them.)

Here at the Fairyland Portal, we handle letters, parcels, and sparkly scribbles that flutter between our world and the realm of fairies. Many of these are meant to be shared—because fairies love stories, and humans need a little magic.

🌸 All letters shared here are from fairies, goblins, cloud-dwellers, and traveling sprites who knew their messages would be passed along to curious human readers. Think of it as peeking into a public fairy message board—or the story hour at the Fairyland library.

🌸 No letters are stolen or secretly read. The Postmistress only opens what’s marked “for public perusal,” “approved for giggling,” or sealed with a sunbeam stamp. Anything private gets tucked into the Dream Archives.

🌸 Letters are shared in the form of blog posts—a peek into life across the veil. A homesick fairy visiting New York. A dryad learning to skateboard. A brownie who’s confused by human kitchen appliances.

🌸 You, dear human, can even write back. Occasionally, the Postmistress answers questions from our world too.

💌 You’ll also find downloadable goodies in the Fairyland Portal: printable cards, paper dolls, coloring pages, and more—little gifts from Fairyland, delivered with care.

[Just to remind you, any Fairy Mail intended to be private must be marked with a drop of moonwater (or labeled so clearly). Fairy Mail takes many forms, most of them like offering a story to the wind, a spark to the bonfire, a dream to the Dreamkeepers. Although Fairy Land residents know this, we are also now in the company of the Human Folk, who might consider the reading of a letter to all and sundry an offense of the highest order.]

Please know,
🌸 Your letter may be read aloud beneath starlight, candlelight, or shared with others in the magical realm (which may include online posts, zines, or fairy scrolls).
🌸 Your real name will never be used** (unless you sign your name “Realname McRealface,” in which case the Postmistress may gently rename you).
🌸 The Postmistress is not a licensed therapist, wizard, or postal inspector, but she is quite good at listening, replying in riddles, and telling the truth gently, with sparkles.
🌸 You may receive a response, in time, if the owl-delivery system is running and the moon is in the mood.

With warmth and wandering ink,
The Postmistress of Fairyland, Lacey Thistledown
